Welcome to The Fantasy Football Wingman!

I have a passion for fantasy football, and have been able to enjoy much success with my interest as well. For the past 9 years I have played in local leagues with my friends, nationwide Internet leagues, and in the World Championship of Fantasy Football in Las Vegas, NV. I have had my fair share of losing seasons, but have enjoyed far more winning seasons overall. In the past two years alone, I have won over $17,000 playing fantasy football. The culmination came two seasons ago when I was crowned the 2007 ESPN Radio 1000 Fantasy Football Champion. I beat over 375 fantasy football teams to win the title. The most thrilling aspect of winning was receiving my trophy from "Da Coach" Mike Ditka on stage in front of 400+ fantasy football players.

So why did I decide to start this blog? I really enjoy talking about, analyzing, and ultimately winning at fantasy football. I look at this as a creative way for me to do that, and hopefully I can help anyone out there who is looking for assistance with their teams. I already talk about fantasy football with many of my friends to no end, so I figured it might be easier to have one central place to go. Additionally, I would love to make fantasy football more than just a hobby for me. I thought this would be a great way to start down that path. Who knows where this may eventually lead...

What should you do? Subscribe and follow this blog, send me your comments, and tell your friends. There is another exciting year of NFL Football on the horizon and The Fantasy Football Wingman is here to help! After all, the idea of a wingman is to offer an element of mutual support.

Finally, I would like to thank Amy and Lauren for their help in getting me started. Amy has encouraged me for a long time to try this, and I probably wouldn't have followed through without that push. Lauren also encouraged me to do this, and helped me with setting things up. Thank you both!
